Dumbell is a project incorporated as a fitness apparel brand with passion in 2019. The brand is the brainchild of Abishek Rengasamy, a fitness enthusiast and a dedicated sportsman himself. Already being in the field of Merchandise, Abishek was thrilled to come up with an Indian fitness apparel brand that specifically suits Indian body types and is affordable to everyone. This Made in India product soon became the go to brand for fitness enthusiasts from different walks of life. Dumbell being a common name in the fitness industry was rightly picked for a fitness apparel brand .The name immediately rang a bell with everyone . As the tagline stands “fit is your strength” we believe not only in the fit of the brand but also in the ideology to promote fitness in the community. Dumbell aims to support young athletes training for international events.

Our founder’s story.
Mr.Abishek Rengasamy, a serial entrepreneur, weight lifter, rifle shooter and fitness enthusiast has been in the textile and garments industry for the past 8 years. He started Dumbell Lifestyle Pvt Ltd with his hands-on experience right from raw material sourcing to manufacturing. With his expertise, he leads the entire mechanism of Dumbell and has turned store-level sales to state-level distribution.
Being the diligent entrepreneur that he is has also driven him to make Dumbell into a one-stop destination for all things fitness rather than just clothing. This has led him to create a “Dumbell Wellness” segment which is a division, specific to nutritional supplements. He owns a restaurant called “LoCal” translating to “Low Calorie”, a first of its kind for affordable fitness foods.
